Synopsis & Listing Information

Apollo Strategic Growth Capital was a SPAC sponsored by an affiliate of Apollo Global Management. It completed its merger with American Express Global Business Travel (GBTG) in one of the most significant SPAC deals of 2022.

Market Status: The warrants trade on the New York Stock Exchange. As of May 14, 2026, the common stock (GBTG) is trading at approximately $7.15.

Valuation: The warrants are currently "out of the money" compared to the $11.50 strike price. However, they remain active with approximately one year of time value remaining before their May 2027 expiration.

2026 Operational Update: On May 7, 2026, the company reported strong Q1 2026 financial results, highlighting a 12% increase in total transaction value (TTV) due to a robust recovery in managed corporate travel. The company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, expecting significant free cash flow growth.

Strategic Moves: In early 2026, the company successfully integrated its acquisition of CWT (formerly Carlson Wagonlit Travel), which management cited as a key driver for margin expansion in the current fiscal year.

Redemption Trigger: The company may redeem the warrants at $0.01 per warrant if the closing price of the common stock equals or exceeds $18.00 for any 20 trading days within a 30-trading day period.

Current Status: Active.

Warrant Terms
  • Expiration Date: The last day the warrants can be exercised. If warrants aren't going to be exercised then they must be sold the day before the expiry date. The longer the time to expiry the more valuable the warrants.
  • Leverage: A measure of how much you can increase your exposure to a share if you bought warrants instead of making a direct investment. It is the current share price divided by the current price of the warrant.
  • Intrinsic Value: The difference between the exercise price and the actual trading price of the common stock. Once the common has gone over the exercise price, the warrants are "In the Money."
  • Volatility: The higher the volatility rating, the higher the price of the warrant. Historical volatility is calculated by using the standard deviation of an underlying stock price over a specific period.
  • Time Value: The difference between the current warrant price and its intrinsic value. Interpreted as the consideration paid for the advantage the warrant buyer has over the direct investor.
