Synopsis & Listing Information

Synopsis, company details and details of warrant listing.

Build Acquisition Corp. was a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) formed as a blank-check company for the explicit purpose of entering into a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, or similar corporate reorganization. The company targeted high-growth businesses in the software, technology-enabled services, and industrial technology infrastructure sectors and was led by co-CEOs A. Lanham Napier and Zeynep Young.

Listing History: The company closed its initial public offering on March 19, 2021, listing its units on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The underlying warrants were assigned the ticker symbols BGSX.W and BGSXW for separate public trading.

Business Combination: N/A

Ticker Change: N/A

Reverse Split Adjustment: N/A

Current Status: The company failed to execute an initial business combination within its legally permitted timeframe. Consequently, Build Acquisition Corp. officially ceased all operations, liquidated its trust account, and finalized its corporate closing on March 17, 2023. As a result of the liquidation, the common stock was redeemed, and the public warrants (BGSX.W / BGSXW) expired entirely worthless. They are completely inactive.

Days Left

Warrant Terms
  • Expiration Date: The last day the warrants can be exercised. If warrants aren't going to be exercised then they must be sold the day before the expiry date. The longer the time to expiry the more valuable the warrants.
  • Leverage: A measure of how much you can increase your exposure to a share if you bought warrants instead of making a direct investment. It is the current share price divided by the current price of the warrant.
  • Intrinsic Value: The difference between the exercise price and the actual trading price of the common stock. Once the common has gone over the exercise price, the warrants are "In the Money."
  • Volatility: The higher the volatility rating, the higher the price of the warrant. Historical volatility is calculated by using the standard deviation of an underlying stock price over a specific period.
  • Time Value: The difference between the current warrant price and its intrinsic value. Interpreted as the consideration paid for the advantage the warrant buyer has over the direct investor.
