Synopsis & Listing Information

Synopsis, company details and details of warrant listing.

Bite Acquisition Corp. was a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) organized as a blank-check company to target a combination within the traditional and non-traditional restaurant and food tech industries. It operated under the leadership of Chairman and CEO Alberto Ardura.

Listing History: The company closed its initial public offering on February 17, 2021, on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The broken-out public warrants traded under the system identifier BITE.W (and BITE-WT).

Business Combination: The company entered a definitive agreement and officially completed its cross-border business combination with Above Food Corp., an integrated plant-based ingredient and consumer food product company based in Canada. The transaction closed on June 28, 2024, and the combined company was restructured as Above Food Ingredients Inc.

Ticker Change: Following the final closing of the food tech transaction, the legacy warrants ceased operations under the symbol BITE.W and were assumed by the successor entity, transitioning trading under the new operational symbol ABVEW.

Reverse Split Adjustment: N/A

Current Status: As of May 2026, the warrants remain structurally active under their successor ticker symbol (ABVEW). They maintain their active lifespan, carrying an exercise mandate of $11.50 until their five-year post-merger expiration date in June 2029.

Days Left

Warrant Terms
  • Expiration Date: The last day the warrants can be exercised. If warrants aren't going to be exercised then they must be sold the day before the expiry date. The longer the time to expiry the more valuable the warrants.
  • Leverage: A measure of how much you can increase your exposure to a share if you bought warrants instead of making a direct investment. It is the current share price divided by the current price of the warrant.
  • Intrinsic Value: The difference between the exercise price and the actual trading price of the common stock. Once the common has gone over the exercise price, the warrants are "In the Money."
  • Volatility: The higher the volatility rating, the higher the price of the warrant. Historical volatility is calculated by using the standard deviation of an underlying stock price over a specific period.
  • Time Value: The difference between the current warrant price and its intrinsic value. Interpreted as the consideration paid for the advantage the warrant buyer has over the direct investor.
