Charlotte's Web warrants to trade on TSX June 18

The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Charlotte's Web Holdings Inc. warrants will be listed and posted for trading at the open on June 18, 2020. According to the TSX, the warrants will trade under the symbol CWEB.WR and Cusip No. 16106R 14 1.

As stated in its prospectus supplement dated June 16, 2020, the company will issue 10 million units at $6.75 per unit in a public offering, with each unit consisting of one share and one-half warrant. According to the TSX, the units will separate immediately upon the closing of the offering.

The TSX reports that each whole warrant will be exercisable at $8.50 per share until 5 p.m. Toronto time on the date that is two years from the closing date of the offering. The TSX has issued a separate bulletin regarding the listing of the shares underlying the units.

Charlotte's Web warrants to trade on TSX June 15

The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Charlotte's Web Holdings Inc. warrants will be listed and posted for trading at the open on June 15, 2020. According to the TSX, there will be 1,232,225 warrants issued, with each warrant exercisable for 0.85 of a share of the company at $21.18 per share. The warrants will trade under the symbol CWEB.WS, under Cusip No. 16106R 13 3 and in Canadian dollars. They will expire at 5 p.m. Toronto time on May 8, 2022.

The TSX reports that the warrants are being listed pursuant to the recently effected plan of arrangement involving the company and Abacus Health Products Inc., whereby the warrants were issued in exchange for warrants of Abacus. The Abacus warrants were delisted from the Canadian Securities Exchange at the close on June 11, 2020.

Charlotte's Web warrants to trade Dec. 3

The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Charlotte's Web Holdings Inc. will list 2,875,000 warrants for trading at the open on Dec. 3, 2019. According to the TSX, the warrants will trade under the symbol CWEB.WT and Cusip No. 16106R 12 5.

As stated in a prospectus supplement dated Nov. 27, 2019, the company will issue 5,750,00 units at $13.25 per unit in a public offering. Each unit will consist of one share and one-half warrant, with each whole warrant entitling the holder to acquire one additional share of the company at $16.50 per share until 5 p.m. Toronto time on the date that is two years following the closing date of the offering.

Warrant Terms
  • Expiration Date: The last day the warrants can be exercised. If warrants aren't going to be exercised then they must be sold the day before the expiry date. The longer the time to expiry the more valuable the warrants.
  • Leverage: A measure of how much you can increase your exposure to a share if you bought warrants instead of making a direct investment. It is the current share price divided by the current price of the warrant.
  • Intrinsic Value: The difference between the exercise price and the actual trading price of the common stock. Once the common has gone over the exercise price, the warrants are "In the Money."
  • Volatility: The higher the volatility rating, the higher the price of the warrant. Historical volatility is calculated by using the standard deviation of an underlying stock price over a specific period.
  • Time Value: The difference between the current warrant price and its intrinsic value. Interpreted as the consideration paid for the advantage the warrant buyer has over the direct investor.
