Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the company at a price of 15 cents per share up to and including March 1, 2018, and a price of 25 cents from March 2, 2018, to March 1, 2019.

Rainy receives TSX-V OK to list 6.77 million warrants

Further to Rainy Mountain Royalty Corp.'s news releases of Feb. 27, 2017, and March 2, 2017, with respect to the completion of its rights offering, the TSX Venture Exchange has approved the listing of 6,773,528 common share purchase warrants of the company. Under the rights offering, 13,547,056 units of the company were issued to subscribers, with each unit comprising one common share of the company and one-half of one warrant.

The warrants will be listed on the exchange under the symbol RMO.WT and will commence trading effective at the opening of the market on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the company for a period of 24 months from March 1, 2017 (being the closing date of the rights offering), at a price of 15 cents for a period of 12 months from March 1, 2017, and at a price of 25 cents thereafter.

  • Expiration Date: The last day the warrants can be exercised. If warrants aren't going to be exercised then they must be sold the day before the expiry date. The longer the time to expiry the more valuable the warrants.
  • Leverage: A measure of how much you can increase your exposure to a share if you bought warrants instead of making a direct investment. It is the current share price divided by the current price of the warrant.
  • Intrinsic Value: The difference between the exercise price and the actual trading price of the common stock. Once the common has gone over the exercise price, the warrants are "In the Money."
  • Volatility: The higher the volatility rating, the higher the price of the warrant. Historical volatility is calculated by using the standard deviation of an underlying stock price over a specific period.
  • Time Value: The difference between the current warrant price and its intrinsic value. Interpreted as the consideration paid for the advantage the warrant buyer has over the direct investor.
