461847 will distribute to shareholders of record at the close in Vancouver July 26 1994, as well as to persons who present to Montreal Trust bearer share certificates representing at least 500 common shares of the company, rights to purchase adjusting balance notes of the company.
One right will be issued for each share held or presented. One right entitles the holder to purchase $0.56 principal amount of notes at $0.312. The company will issue to each person who purchases notes on the exercise of rights 1.166666666 shares for each $0.56 principal amount of the notes purchased. The rights will expire at 4:00 pm local time August 30 1994.
A holder of rights may exercise rights only if such holder is the holder of and exercises at least 500 rights.
Effective at the opening July 20 1994, the shares will trade ex-rights and the rights will be posted and called for trading on the VSE at that time on a when-issued basis.
