Synopsis & Listing Information

The LGL Group, Inc. operates as a diversified holding company focusing on high-reliability frequency control, timing synchronization, and spectrum management electronics components engineered for aerospace, defense, and infrastructure applications.

Listing History: On November 16, 2020, LGL distributed a structural warrant dividend to all existing common shareholders of record. These warrants were subsequent to individual investor allocation and initiated separate tracking networks on the NYSE American market platform under the trading asset ticker LGL.WS.

Business Combination: On August 11, 2022, LGL executed a definitive structural separation plan, spinning out its primary operational systems manufacturing subsidiary, MtronPTI, into an independent public corporate structure trading under the exchange ticker LPTI.

Ticker Change: Following the separation transaction, the baseline parent warrants retained their core trading functionality on the NYSE American as LGL.WS with tracking baseline edits.

Reverse Split Adjustment: The spin-off tracking formula triggered anti-dilution baseline corrections, adjusting the effective calculation elements regarding underlying equity components.

Current Status: Expired. The distribution warrants completed their defined operational lifecycle, arriving at their fixed five-year expiration milestone on November 17, 2025, and were removed from active exchange systems.

Days Left

Warrant Terms
  • Expiration Date: The last day the warrants can be exercised. If warrants aren't going to be exercised then they must be sold the day before the expiry date. The longer the time to expiry the more valuable the warrants.
  • Leverage: A measure of how much you can increase your exposure to a share if you bought warrants instead of making a direct investment. It is the current share price divided by the current price of the warrant.
  • Intrinsic Value: The difference between the exercise price and the actual trading price of the common stock. Once the common has gone over the exercise price, the warrants are "In the Money."
  • Volatility: The higher the volatility rating, the higher the price of the warrant. Historical volatility is calculated by using the standard deviation of an underlying stock price over a specific period.
  • Time Value: The difference between the current warrant price and its intrinsic value. Interpreted as the consideration paid for the advantage the warrant buyer has over the direct investor.
